A fresh new look for the heart jewel centre website

Welcome to the New Heart Jewel Centre Website

We’re very happy to welcome you to the new Heart Jewel Kadampa Buddhist Centre website.

Over the past few months we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes to refresh our online home, and we’re delighted to finally share it with you. The new website has been designed to feel calmer, clearer and easier to navigate, reflecting the welcoming and supportive community at the heart of the Centre.

What’s changed?

• A cleaner, more spacious design that’s easier to read and explore

• A clearer What’s On section, making it simpler to find classes, courses and special events

• Improved navigation so you can browse by event type or venue

• A layout that’s much easier for volunteers to update and maintain, helping us keep information current and accurate

Behind the scenes, the site has also been simplified so that adding events, updating pages and sharing news is more straightforward for our volunteer team - an important step as the Centre continues to grow.

Looking ahead to 2026

This refresh feels like an exciting and progressive way to begin 2026 for Heart Jewel Centre. As our programme of classes, courses and retreats continues to expand, the new website gives us a solid, flexible foundation to support that growth and to better serve our community.

The website was designed and built by Han at picturethis.studio, who worked closely with the Centre to create a site that balances clarity, warmth and practicality, while keeping the day-to-day needs of volunteers firmly in mind.
